Favorite Photo Friday!

Every Friday I'm going to post a favorite Photo until I get a new camera because I've lost it AGAIN. This is my favorite picture of the kids when they were little.

On My Mind...

Today as Halle was kissing and hugging me good bye and was walking out the door I just starred in amazement at how old she has gotten!! She is beautiful both inside and out. She is kind to everybody and makes friends easily she is outgoing and so happy all the time! She is a good example to her brothers and sisters and we are so blessed to have her in our family! As I think back to when I got married my youngest sister Danielle and Braden's youngest sister Krystle were Halle's age and now Krystle is married and Danielle just graduated. Halle is going to be 18 and graduated before we know it and I'm not ready! We need to live each day like it's the last. I'm going to stop worrying about the house being clean or having the perfect meal for dinner and start worrying about more important things in life like did I tell my kids how much I love them or tell them how special they are today. I was reminiscing and looking at pictures of when it was just Braden and I with Halle. She was and IS our everything!!

I also want to tell Danielle and Krystle that you girls are such a great example to my kids and I would be proud if Halle turns out just like you both!!

Isaac's Baby Blessing

We blessed Isaac on Sunday and he looked precious. Braden thought I should have taken off the bonnet but I thought it was cute and you don't see very many boys blessed in them and I like to be different!

Braden gave a nice blessing and we are so happy Isaac is here and healthy and we can't imagine life without him.

Lauren's 3

Lauren turned 3 on April 6. We love her so very much and we think she is so funny and super cute! Happy Birthday sweet baby girl and for heaven's sake STOP GROWING!!

Isaac Braden Driscoll Is Here!

After a CRAZY CRAZY pregnancy our beautiful son is finally here! Isaac was born on his due date March 31,2009 and weighed 8lbs. 6 ounces and was 21 inches long. He is just perfect!!

My birth story....

On Monday March 30, 2009 I just felt different! I went to pick up some Mexican food and doughnuts for lunch (YES! I gained 55lbs) for me and my kids because I didn't want to cook and clean. When I came home we had a annoying gas alarm going off. I called Braden and he said he would come look at it later because he was in a meeting....UMMM WHAT?? What if you come home and we are dead? I was so tired and decided to turn on a movie for the kids so I could try and take a nap on the couch with the stupid alarm going off. 30 minutes later I woke up to what felt like water coming out of me. I wasn't for sure until I walked around and had a BIG gush. I was nervous because I knew I needed to get to the hospital because I tend to go really fast when my water breaks. (I went to the hospital at a 7 with Lauren not knowing for sure if I was even in labor) I called Braden to tell him to get home my water had broke and he didn't believe me. He thought I was trying to trick him to come home and fix the alarm. He came home we packed and left to go to the hospital. I WAS HAVING NO CONTRACTIONS!! (EMBARRASSING MOMENT....I put a pad on hoping that would be enough to hold the water on the way to hospital well Braden was making me laugh in the truck and it was gushing out all over. By the time I got to the hospital my pants were soaking wet and neither of us had a coat. I had to walk up to labor and delivery with wet pants down to my knees!) 6pm They checked me and I was a 1 and they gave me cervadel. I walked around the hospital to get my contractions going and at 10pm I was a 3. At 11:30pm they started the pitosin. My nurse asked me if I wanted a epidural and I told her no because I was feeling good and she told me I better get one because the anesthesiologist was going home. At 12:30 the anesthesiologist came in and gave me an epi and it was a dang good thing because 20 minutes later I was a 10 and the baby was coming. I pushed through 3 contractions and at 1:14am Isaac was born.

I have been so busy with my kids and activities I haven't had time to blog which has also made my pregnancy fly by. Only a little more than 3 months and we will get to hug and kiss our sweet baby:)

I don't like finding out what the gender of our baby is but my kids have been begging to find out so I decided I would to make everyone in this house happy:) Halle asked if I would send them on a scavenger hunt to find out what we were having.....
Luke is thrilled to finally be getting a baby brother and we all can't wait to hug and kiss baby Isaac:)

It's hard to believe...

It feels like just yesterday we were off to the hospital to have our 1st born Halle. Today she has turned 8 years old. Where has the time gone? Halle came 3 days after our 1st year anniversary. She is such an amazing and beautiful daughter. We LOVE her so...much. I can't believe she will be baptised in a few weeks. She is so full of life and loves to have fun and play with her friends. She always tells me I'm her best friend and I want her to know she is my best friend as well.

Happy Birthday My Cute Faith Elizabeth!

Reasons we love Faith... she loves everyone, she loves going to primary, she is beautiful and has perfect naturally ringlet curls and BIG bright blue eyes. She loves to help me cook and clean and almost always obeys, she is always laughing, she is so sweet and can make you feel so good about yourself.(She is always telling me how pretty I am:) She is definitely daddy's girl! We love her so much and we are so glad we have her in our family! Happy 4Th Birthday Faith!!

Exciting News

My brother and sister-in-law Jared and Amanda are having their 1st baby sometime around April. We are so excited and I'm so looking forward to another niece or nephew. My kids will be getting 3 new cousins in the next 6 months and a new sibling as well. I'm so glad! This is really great news for my kids who desperately need cousins!



I also wanted to wish Amanda a Happy Birthday!

Happy 30th Birthday To MEEE!

I'M HAVING A BABY!!
We are very excited and blessed to be having another sweet baby. We were very surprised to find out a couple of months ago that we are expecting. We will be having a baby in March with my sister-in-law Heather who is expecting the exact same time as us.
My kids reaction...

Luke: Mom can you make it a boy baby?
Mom: No. It's up to Heavenly Father.
Luke: Why?

Halle: I want a boy baby.

Faith: I want a girl baby so me a wauren (aka Lauren) can play with her.

Halle: How does it come out again mom?

Luke keeps looking at the ultrasound picture and asking if it's his brother. It kind of breaks my heart because he wants a brother so bad. I hope for his sake it is a little brother. But.....Braden and I both feel like it's another little girl. I guess we will be surprised in March!

Happy Birthday Eric!

Just wanted to give a Happy Birthday SHOUT OUT to my bro-in-law Eric. Happy 29th!

1st Day Of School!

School started a week ago and Halle and Luke seem to be enjoying it. Halle is in 2nd grade and Luke is in Kindergarten. I thought I would be more sad but was actually glad they were going. They were getting really bored at home!



Faith and Lauren are always asking when Halle and Luke are coming home from school. I'm enjoying being home with the girls. They are so funny together and think of the funniest things to do and dress up as.

There were a few kids crying when I walked Luke into his class I wanted to hug them it was so sad! He has had so much fun in Kindergarten.



Halle loves her teacher and she always comes home and tells me how pretty she is. They are having fun and I'm so glad they love going to school!!

Cheerleading Camp!

The AHS cheerleaders put on a fun summer camp for little girls who someday want to be cheerleaders and teach them fun cheers and a cute little cheer dance and they get to perform it at the 1st home football game. This year they learned dances from High School musical 2. This was Halle's 4th year and Faith's 1st (possibly last year!) This year they went with their cousins Paige and Hope who also happen to be their best friends!



Check out naughty Faith and Hope in the back who would not come up forward for the picture. This is how it all started!



We get to the Park and Faith and Hope keep running away and I'm not happy about chasing them down. Finally I grab faith and she is crying because she would rather play on the toys. So I'm upset because I paid for this camp and her t-shirt so I take her t-shirt off put Faith in the car.




I put the t-shirt on Lauren who is happy to go out and play with the cheerleaders and dance around. (she is so cute!) After Faith sees that Lauren is out there dancing to FABULOUS off High School Musical (Faith and Halle love High School Musical and Faith loveloveloves Sharpay) she decides she wants to learn the dance.




At the end of this 1st day Both Halle and Faith got to bring home the spirit sticks. I'm surprised Faith got it...probably because she is so cute. At the end of camp they receive awards and Halle received best dancer award. They were so fun to watch!

A Funny Discovery

We had a Driscoll family reunion that was really fun. Later that evening we played a fun guessing game. We each had to bring a baby picture from home and guess who everyone was. Check out Braden and Luke....

Just wanted to say Happy Birthday to my father-in-law Dirk. You are a wonderful person and you have raised amazing kids. I hope you had a great day!!

I know it's a little late but I wanted you to know how much I love and appreciate you. You are the best father and husband anyone could ask for.

t-ball

Halle and Luke were able to play tee-ball together this year. It was so fun to watch how cute they are. This was Luke's 1st year and he was so stinkin' cute to watch. He looked so small almost like Chicken Little. Halle is so funny to watch because although she likes to play sports she is way more girl. Everyone would laugh because she wanted to come to practice and games with her hair all curled and she would stop at each base and fluff her hair under her baseball cap. They had so much fun!
